Influence of Oxymethylene Ethers (OMEn) in Mixtures with a Diesel Surrogate

چکیده

Within this work the effects of blending oxymethylene ethers (OMEn) to a diesel surrogate (50 mol% n-dodecane, 30 farnesane, and 20 1-methylnaphthalene) were investigated by performing two different types experiments: measurements sooting propensity laminar burning velocity, each in premixed flames. For propensity, OME3, OME4, OME5 considered as compounds—each mass fractions 10%, 20%, 30%. The was found depend strongly on OMEn grade but not its chain length. In addition, effect velocity studied for OME4 admixture 30% with first time. This lead increased velocities; however, much less than might be foreseen when considering respective values neat fuels.

prediction of ignition delay period in d.i diesel engines

a semi-empirical mathematical model for predicting physical part of ignition delay period in the combustion of direct - injection diesel engines with swirl is developed . this model based on a single droplet evaporation model . the governing equations , namely , equations of droplet motion , heat and mass transfer were solved simultaneously using a rung-kutta step by step unmerical method . the...

critical period effects in foreign language learning:the influence of maturational state on the acquisition of reading, writing, and grammar in english as a foreign language

since the 1960s the age effects on learning both first and second language have been explored by many linguists and applied linguists (e.g lennerberg, 1967; schachter, 1996; long, 1990) and the existence of critical period for language acquisition was found to be a common ground of all these studies. in spite of some common findings, some issues about the impacts of age on acquiring a second or...

A Successful Induction of Lactation in Surrogate Pregnancy with Metoclopramide and Review of Lactation Induction

In surrogate pregnancies genetic parents have little opportunity for early bonding with their infants either prenatally (in utero) or during the immediate postnatal period. Procedures commonly used to induce lactation include both pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic methods often in combination. Studies reporting induced lactation are sparse due to the rarity of augmented lactation. Here we repo...
